Muslim Journeys at CUNY Libraries: CCNY

In January of 2013, four CUNY libraries (BMCC, CCNY, City Tech, and Hostos) were awarded the NEH/ALA Muslim Journeys Bookshelf grant. This LibGuide includes links to all the resources included in the grant as well as programming information.

All programs will be held in the Cohen Library Archives (5th floor) located in the NAC Building at 160 Convent Ave. (Convent Ave. between 136th & 138th St.) New York, NY 10031. The Unexpected Taj Mahal

November 4 - December 31, 2013
An exhibition of photographs by Prof. Haitham Abduallah of the Taj Mahal, showing the cultural traditions as well as modern context of the monument. There will be a daily screening of the film Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World, one of the films awarded to CCNY Libraries as part of the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf.
