Reference Librarians are available via email, and in person at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Cohen Library. We are glad to provide research help to students, faculty, and visiting researchers.

One-on-One Research Consultations 

Do you have a detailed research question and need guidance? Are you encountering obstacles in your research? Consider booking a one-on-one consultation with a CCNY librarian. 

Research consultations are best for in-depth assistance with complex research assignments.
Learn how to:

  • Focus your research topic
  • Plan your research strategy
  • Identify relevant sources of information
  • Find and evaluate sources efficiently

Sessions are usually no more than 1 hour. Open to City College and School of Public Health students, faculty, and staff only. Group appointments are available. Please allow a minimum of two days for us to schedule an appointment with you.
