Use your CCNY email address and associated password for off campus access to most CCNY databases and journals (which includes the core set of databases and journals shared by all CUNY libraries). You must enter access resources from the library's A-Z list, or from the Journals by Title list, then follow the log in prompt. Here is a short video on how to log in.
Please note: Library barcodes, found on the back of your CCNY ID card, are no longer needed to log into library resources from off-campus.
When you click on a database from off campus, you will see the login screen pictured. Enter your email username and associated password.
2-factor authentification is required. You will get a message on your phone confirming your log in.
You can reset your password at IT’s self-service password reset site.
If you need further help, please contact a librarian.
The CCNY Libraries catalog, OneSearch, uses the CUNY single login credentials, which are first.lastXX@login.cuny.edu. This allows you to request books from other CUNY campuses.
For SPH and CSOM students, faculty, and staff, please choose the 'City College of New York' option, then follow the link for either the SPH or CSOM login.
SPH students will need to log in using your full SPH email address and your domain account password. If you are unsure of this password or would like to reset it, please contact SPH IT (helpdesk@sph.cuny.edu) or (646) 364-9555 with your EMPLID.
