Overdue Policy Change
Beginning March 14, 2020, all CUNY libraries will suspend regular overdue fines and recall overdue fines. Reserve fines and lost item fines will remain.
Patrons with fines totaling over $25 will be issued a block on their CUNYfirst account. A block will prevent registration, graduation, requests for transcripts and borrowing privileges from any CUNY Library.
Patrons who have Lost Books/Items on their library record will have a block placed on their CUNYfirst account. Until cleared, the block will prevent registration, graduation, requests for transcripts and borrowing privileges from any CUNY Library.
The fees for Lost Books/Items are as follows:
The Lost Item fee for calculators or DVDs is the current retail price.
