What are Call Numbers?
Call numbers are a combination of letters and numbers that indicate the location of an item in the library. Call numbers at City College Cohen Library are organized in groups according to the Library of Congress (LC) classification system. Because they are grouped by number, this means that you can find books on similar topics in the same area of the library.
