Digital Music Labs

The Digital Music labs--also known as the CAI labs--provide tools for music students to practice ear-training skills, gain proficiency using music-notation software, create professional-looking charts and compositions. The labs are located in the lower level of the Music Library, SH 160. Map

Equipment & Software

Apple iMac computers with the following software programs:

• Sibelius Notation Software
• Finale Notation Software
• MacGamut 6 ear-training software*
• Logic Pro X
• Final Cut Pro X
• Mainstage 3
• Motion
• Compressor

To access one of the labs, present your validated CCNY ID to any staff member at the music library circulation desk. Headphones are also available to borrow.
