The main search box on the Library homepage is a tool called OneSearch and it helps you find things in the City College Libraries collection. Searching OneSearch is a great first-step toward finding materials related to your topic. OneSearch is most effective when you use the advanced search screen to string together different key words and phrases. Below is a simple search example with a search for the phrase "Spanish Civil War" and the word Franco. The engine will return items that contain both the phrase and the word. Once you do your basic search, use the filters on the right column to refine your results. Basic filters include resource type and a filter to set date ranges.
