Welcome to the psychology subject guide. Here you will find information on resources available to assist you in your research. Below are some essential Psychology resources. This guide also includes information about Statistics, Tests and Measuremants, Surveys, and writing and citing sources in the APA Style.
PsycINFO includes the hundreds of full-text journals PsycARTICLES database in addition to citations to hundreds more, covering nearly 2,000 journals in all. A great place to start.
PubMed provides access to complete bibliographic information from over 4,800 biomedical journals and magazines. Articles from other life sciences publications are also indexed if their content is appropriate. Articles link out to full text when available.
PubMed citations come from 1) MEDLINE indexed journals, 2) journals/manuscripts deposited in PubMed Central , and 3) NCBI Bookshelf. Both MEDLINE and other PubMed citations may have links to full-text articles or manuscripts in PMC, NCBI Bookshelf, and publishers' Web sites. If you limit your PubMed search to MeSH controlled vocabulary or the MEDLINE subset, you will see only MEDLINE citations in your results.
