Citation is important because it tells your reader where to find your sources, but also because it helps connect your thinking and writing with the intellectual work of others. By correctly citing your sources, you are engaging in an academic conversation!

Reference managers are incredibly important for long term projects such as capstones, theses, and dissertations, however they are useful for papers of any length.
RefWorks is a web-based reference management program. This research tool allows you to save an unlimited number of references, full-text, and other research materials, and create both in-text citations and bibliographies.
