One-Year Subscription to Streaming Film via Academic Video Online (AVON) and Kanopy

In September 2020, we ran a one-month trial to three streaming film platforms to support remote instruction caused by the pandemic. Based on faculty feedback, we are pleased to provide a one-year subscription to Academic Video Online (AVON) and select Kanopy titles.

Academic Video Online (AVON), available on our Databases A-Z page, is a digital collection of 70,000 streaming covering all academic interests. Videos are fully transcribed and indexed. Users can create and share playlists, video clips, and embed content in Blackboard. Popular Channels Include:

We have subscribed to only the following Kanopy titles, accessible on our Databases A-Z page. Faculty who need additional Kanopy titles for their course use should fill out a purchase request here. Kanopy films will also be discoverable in OneSearch using the search bar on our homepage.
