CSE style (previously known as CBE Style)

CSE style (previously known as CBE Style) is the citation format established by the Council of Science Editors. This format is preferred by writers in many disciplines found in the natural sciences. CSE has two citation systems: the Citation-Sequence system and Name-Year system. These two citation schemes differ in their in-text citations and the manner in which works cited are listed.
