Chemistry: Encyclopedias

Ullmann's is an electronic version of one the foremost reference sources for applied chemistry and chemical engineering. Ullmann's consists of nearly 1000 detailed articles by leading chemists and chemical engineers. Each article includes a comprehensive bibliography with links (when available) to the original source material. The content of the articles is fairly sophisticated and is most appropriate for junior or higher level users. This online source complements our printed encyclopedia, the Kirk-Othmer encyclopedia of chemical technology (Shelved at TP9 .K54 2004 in our Reference Collection). Access to Ullman's Encyclopedia is restricted to City College students, faculty and staff.

Contains popular-science style articles describing many aspects of electrochemistry. New articles are added at irregular intervals, and all articles are periodically updated as recent developments occur in the field.
