A public, web-accessible database of measured binding affinities for biomolecules, genetically or chemically modified biomolecules, and synthetic compounds. The database currently contains data generated by isothermal titration calorimetry, enzyme inhibition, and receptor-ligand binding methods. Other techniques will be included in the future.

RXN for Chemistry
Uses AI to predict outcomes of chemical reactions for optimized synthesis methods, and to automatically generate chemical procedures for use in manual or automated lab operations. Some of their features have no cost.
Allchemy
This artificial intelligence technology, which is not free, can help plan organic chemical syntheses. However they offer a free tool to explore prebiotic reactions.

QD245 .C65 1979 (Reference Section). A 6 volume work.

These are some of the major reference works in the Science/Engineering Library on organic syntheses. We also have many more specialized books. QD258 M44 (Reference Section). A classic multi-volume and authoritative work on organic synthesis with contributions by expert organic chemists.
Science of synthesis : Houben-Weyl methods of molecular transformations
QD 262 .S35 (Reference Section). An English language update to Methoden der organischen Chemie (Houben-Weyl). But note that even if a synthesis for a compound is described here, it may differ from the older method described in the earlier Houben-Weyl volume.
Organic reactions
QD251 O7 (Circulating Collection). On ongoing series started in 1942 that now has more than 60 volumes.

Beilstein Handbook of Organic Chemistry
QD251 B42 (Reference Section). A massive collection of data on the properties, preparation, and reactions of carbon compounds. It covers the literature from the beginning of organic chemistry early in the 19th century. Theilheimer’s synthetic methods of organic chemistry
QD262 .S94 (Circulating Collection). A well-known series on organic syntheses.
Technique of organic chemistry (Weissberger)
QD251 .W368 and QD251 .W3683 (Circulating Collection). Rather than being exclusively about organic syntheses like the other entries here, this series focuses on the practical techniques and methods used by organic chemists.
